Is the foundation a recognised engineering qualification?
It is awarded by OTHM, regulated by Ofqual in the UK, at QQI Level 5, the level of a Leaving Certificate. On Ireland’s framework the level is its QQI equivalent, under QQI’s own referencing of the EQF, and the certificate is recognised across the EU.
Does it lead to an engineering degree?

Do I need to be good at maths?
The mathematics module takes you from algebra to calculus, and the engineering principles module covers the calculations, so the maths is taught rather than assumed.
