Still wondering?

What developers and IT staff ask before they enrol.

What does “top-up” actually mean?

The final year of a bachelor’s degree, on its own. Your Level 5 qualification counts as the first two years, so you join at year three and graduate with the full BSc (Hons).

Is it a real degree?

Yes. A BSc (Hons) Computing from Arden University, a UK university. The award is Arden’s own, and carries no note of where the earlier years were done.

What tools and languages will I work with?

Programming, web development, databases, cloud computing, cyber security and data analysis, using tools and languages such as Python, PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS.

How long does it take?

You have one to three years.

What if my HND is not an exact match?

Arden University considers applications case by case. A personal statement is required, and references or evidence of relevant experience may be requested.

Do I need an English test?

Not if your previous study was taught in English. If it was not, Arden asks for IELTS 6.0 with no element below 5.5, or an equivalent.

When can I start?

Intakes run several times a year. We confirm the next one when you get in touch.
