How to Apply for an Arden Top-Up Course: A Step-by-Step Guide

Thinking of enrolling in an Arden University Top-Up course? This guide will walk you through the application process, key deadlines, and what to expect after you’re enrolled.

Step 1: Gather Your Documents

Before applying, you’ll need to submit the following documents via email:

Copy of Passport / ID – Scanned form of valid identification.

CV – A current resume detailing your professional experience and education.

Qualification Certificate & Transcript – Proof of your previous academic achievements.

Personal Statement (350-500 words) – A short essay explaining your motivations and career goals. Need help? Follow our Personal Statement Guide.

– Employer Reference(s) – A letter from your employer is sometimes required to confirm the professional experience you are relying on for your application.

Top Tip: Make sure all documents are clear, up-to-date, and in PDF or Docx format for easy submission.

Step 2: Important Dates & Deadlines

Arden University has four intakes per year:

– February
– May
– September
– November

Application Deadlines:

We recommend submitting your application 30-90 days before your chosen intake to allow time for processing.

Applications can typically be completed within 30 days if:

• All required documents are submitted correctly.

• Spaces are available in the course.

• The deposit is paid in full.

Applying less than 30 days before the start date? Contact an agent first to confirm eligibility.

Step 3: What Happens After You Apply?

1. Receiving Your Arden Email & Login Details

Once enrolled, Arden University will send your official login details to the email used in your application.

2. Accessing Your Online Learning Platform (iLearn)

• You will receive iLearn access details in your Arden email inbox.

iLearn is your main platform for learning, assignments, and communication.

3. Completing Your Induction & Milestones

Failure to complete these steps may result in withdrawal from the course.

• Carefully read all emails from Arden, especially those regarding milestones and the milestones committee.

• Log in to iLearn, navigate to the “Induction” section, and start completing the tasks.
