What to expect?

The EQF Level 6 Top-Up in Business Management is an internationally recognised qualification. This course is ideal for professionals who are motivated to become managers OR already work in management and wish to further their qualifications.

Students who study this course will benefit from hands on learning with lectures / classes at the Domain Academy in Mosta. Lessons are available twice weekly.

Materials will be made available online for students who require the flexibility to study outside of the delivery hours. Additionally, students may benefit from sessions with a tutor who will support you throughout your modules.

Learning Style

The MQF Level 6 Top-Up in Business Management is a flexible programme. It can be studied part-time. Life gets busy, and schedules don't remain the same. It can be studied both at home and in person twice per week in the evening.

This programme is designed for students who require a more hands-on learning experience. Lectures and classes will be held between 6 and 9 p.m., depending on your unit schedule. This course is designed for professionals who need to balance full-time or part-time work with studying in the evenings.

  • Hands-on learning: Lectures and classes are held between 6pm and 9pm twice weekly.
  • Presentations: Students will be assessed on their ability to prepare and present presentations.
  • Online learning: Students can take advantage of the University of Derby's online learning facilities. Study from the comfort of your own home when your schedule allows for it.
  • Assignments: This course features assignments throughout each unit of study. 
  • Exams: This course features minimal exams and is assessed with a mix of methods.
  • Self-paced: This course is part-time and takes 1-2 years to complete. Student's are required to attend 3 hours of evening classes per week, supplemented with individual online study.

Yes, the level 6 business management top-up is eligible for the Get Qualified Scheme refund. Students can locate this course by selecting the institution Domain Academy and searching for the course title.

Students who graduate from an eligible course can apply for a 70% refund through the Malta Enterprise online portal. To apply, students must first receive their certificate and then begin the application process.

The Get Qualified Scheme is set to end on the 31st of December 2025. Any course started before this date will be eligible for the refund after expiry.
