Specialisation Options in Semester 5 & 6:

In Semester 5 & 6, you'll select three specialisations.

  • Smart Factory - Tackle the unique engineering challenges that an autonomously operated and decentralized production facility offers. Come up with possible IT security solutions for these challenges, and gain an edge in the production management career field.
  • AI Specialist - Start your journey as an AI specialist with an introduction to NLP (Natural Language Processing) and Computer Vision.
  • Autonomous Driving - Get to know the basic concepts behind the architecture of self-driving vehicles. Explore the hardware and software behind autonomous driving, and the complex sensor solutions required for vehicles to process the space around them.
  • Mobile Software Engineering - you’ll get hands-on experience in developing mobile software systems, in an Android mobile environment. Analyse the differences between mobile apps and browser-based information systems, learn how to create mobile software systems and implement them in solving case studies.
  • Smart Services - This specialisation introduces you to methods and concepts in smart services development.
