Specialisation Options in Semester 6:

 In Semester 6, you'll select one specialisation.


  • Applied Sales - Learn what tools companies use to increase sales, the different sales channels and distribution systems they use, and analyse negotiation, telephone and digital sales tactics.
  • Big Data and Cloud Technology - This specialisation offers answers to some of the big questions surrounding this topic: how data is categorized, and how binary and text-based data formats are constructed, and plenty of others.
  • Financial Services Management - Get a systematic overview of financial markets, their structure and the different providers in the field. Understand the various services and functions required and offered in global corporate finance: financing, investments and working with banks. Understand how risks are assessed and mitigated with insurance contracts and securities.
  • Foundations of Programming (Python) - Cover everything you need to know to start working with one of the most popular programming languages in recent years.
  • Smart Services - This specialisation introduces you to methods and concepts in smart services development.
  • IT Security - Take your first step toward a career in IT security with this module. Learn about the foundations and core topics of IT security, how they are applied, and the processes and methods with which they are used.
  • Supply Chain Management - Plan, optimise and execute individual production units and logistics work processes. Learn how to create an organised system where different departments can collaborate efficiently across daily business operations. 
  • Business Psychology - Learn about the structure of markets and global companies, and about the ways in which trends such as digitalisation influence industries. Examine how agile organisational structures and advanced human resources professionals adapt to new patterns in the work market. Lastly, focus on economic psychology and its uses in personnel and business management.
